About Naftab Co., a brief history…

With over three decades of experience in the field of Passive Fire Protection, Naftab is proud to be recognized as the founder of the industry in Iran and as an innovator in the Construction and Industrial Fire Insulation Systems Sector.

With increased limitations as a result of sanctions and the rise in costs of importing primary goods, Naftab commenced the process of Research and Development and ultimately the production of Fire Protection materials as of 2017; using a very capable and efficient in-house team of experts consisting of University Professors and Graduates. Naftab products are made 100% domestically; from the initial process of extraction of minerals (such as Vermiculite and Perlite), to the final product that is assembled and formulated at its various factories.

As a result of the Research department’s success in developing highly advanced formulations, Naftab now manufactures a wide range of Spray-applied Fire Resistive Materials (SFRMs) that are superior to most of its foreign counterparts in quality, with lower densities and application thicknesses required. Our products are divided based on the sector (and the nature of possible fires within such infrastructures) it is intended for; Construction Sector (Cellulosic Fires) and the Industrial Sector such as Oil, Gas, Petrochemical & Tunnels (Hydrocarbon Fires) as well as primers and key-coats that are used to enhance the SFRMs.
