Naftab has a variety of mineral based SFRMs, that may vary based on the nature of the construction project and its specifications, however, here is a brief description of our products suitable for the Construction Sector which is often only exposed to Cellulosic fires.
Nafco MD (Medium Density)
A cement/vermiculite-based Spray-applied Fire Resistive Material (SFRM) with a medium density of approximately 480 kg/m3 suitable for the construction sector, which has been tested and applied in many national projects of importance.
Nafco LD (Low Density)
A cement/perlite-based mortar with a low density (370 kg/m3) suitable for the Construction sector due to its lighter weight, resulting in less dead load and strain on beams and columns. This material has also been tested and approved by the Road, Housing & Urban Development Research Center and is the ideal choice for residential or municipal environments.
Nafco GP (Gypsum)
Nafco GP is our newest product that is a gypsum/perlite-based mortar with a low density of approximately 300 kg/m3. This SFRM is expected to be one of our leading products because of its light weight and ease of application. Testing is currently underway and mass production will ensue shortly hereafter.
